Super Specialty Nursing
Introduction -
The advanced course on Super specialty Nursing is an effective tool at managing life threatening illnesses in clinical environment with the use of best possible facilities, infrastructures and all available resources.
Course objectives -
The main aim of this course is to improve patient care so as to investigate, diagnose and treat the disease in time and thereby improving the overall management of patients with the use of available resources, interventions and applying modern technology.
Course duration -
Course duration - 2 years /1 year/6 months
This includes very intensive clinical, practical class room teaching along with detailed course module.

Optimum student intake and teacher/student ratio -
As interactive adult teaching/learning and assessment strategies will be used throughout the course, which will include the requirement for clinical supervision, the optimum intake per course is likely to be 30 students. The ideal teacher-student ratio should not exceed 1:10, i.e. one teacher per ten students.
Quality control and evaluation -
External audit is essential to evaluate the quality and standards of the course, as evidenced by the curriculum design, the teaching/learning strategies, the marking of student assessments and the results in both academic work and in practice learning outcomes. Introduction:

4. Certificate Course in Operation Room Nursing
Introduction:
Certified operating room nurses work in a fast-paced environment assisting surgeons during operations. They provide patient care during the pre-, intra- and postoperative stages. Programme is designed for nurses who want to specialize in perioperative nursing.

In this programme nurses will obtain various aspects of operating room procedures, including disinfectant and sterilization, operating room safety, surgical tools, patient communication, anesthesia assessment and skin preparation. Clinical experience provides students with firsthand knowledge of general and specialty surgeries. Introduction:
Cardio Thoracic nursing is a nursing specialty that works with patients who suffer from various conditions of the cardiovascular system. Cardiac nurses help treat conditions such as unstable angina, cardiomyopathy, coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction and cardiac dysrhythmia under the direction of a cardiologist.

Cardiac nurses perform postoperative care on a surgical unit, stress test evaluations, cardiac monitoring, vascular monitoring, and health assessments. In addition, cardiac nurses must possess specialized skills including electrocardiogram monitoring, defibrillation, and medication administration by continuous intravenous drip.

Cardiac nurses work in many different environments, including coronary care units (CCU), cardiac catheterization, intensive care units (ICU), operating theatres, cardiac rehabilitation centers, clinical research, cardiac surgery wards, cardiovascular intensive care units (CVICU), and cardiac medical wards.

Introduction:
The specialized new born care facilities have grown rapidly with a number of level II special care nurseries and Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU’s) having been established in teaching as well as corporate hospitals. This revolution in new born care demands specially trained nurses to function as Neonatal Nurse parishioners.

Neonatal nurses care for new-born babies who are premature or are born sick. There are a vast number of conditions that can affect a new-born baby and require treatment from specialists within the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Course Objective
Premature babies have particular problems as a result of being born too soon, in particular problems such as respiratory difficulties that can be life threatening if not treated promptly and appropriately by the specialist team.
